What is the last entry time?
Last admission to the car park and Visitor Centre is 30 minutes before the stated closing time.
Are the cliffs open on public holidays?
The Cliffs of Moher Experience is open on all public holidays except for Christmas (December 24th, 25th, and 26th).
Can I visit the cliffs outside of opening hours?
The Visitor Centre, car park, and official pathways are only accessible during opening hours. While the cliffs are a natural feature, accessing them outside of these times via the official entrance is not possible and walking the unprotected cliff edges is extremely dangerous.
Why do the hours change?
The hours are adjusted seasonally to maximize daylight for visitors, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. The long summer evenings in Ireland allow for later closing times.
