Cliffs of Moher Cruise

For a completely different perspective, take a one-hour boat tour from nearby Doolin. Sail beneath the towering cliffs to truly appreciate their immense scale and see the famous sea cave from the Harry Potter films.

Day Tours from Major Cities

Hassle-free day trips by coach are available from Dublin, Galway, Limerick, and Cork. These tours typically include your admission ticket and often stop at other nearby attractions like the Burren or Bunratty Castle.

A View from the Water

Seeing the cliffs from the top is breathtaking, but seeing them from the sea is awe-inspiring. A cruise from Doolin Pier takes you right to the base of the cliffs, allowing you to grasp their true 214-metre height. You'll get a fantastic view of the Great Sea Stack (Branaunmore) and the thousands of seabirds, including puffins in season, nesting on the cliff face.

The boat tours also provide commentary on the geology and history of the area, and point out the entrance to the sea cave used as a filming location in "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince". It's an unmissable experience that perfectly complements a visit to the top.
