Accessible Facilities

Parking & Drop-off

Designated disabled parking spaces are available in the main car park and in the coach park closer to the Visitor Centre. There is a drop-off area available for visitors who require it.

Pathways and Viewing Areas

The Visitor Centre, O'Brien's Tower, and over 800 metres of the main cliff-edge pathways and viewing platforms are paved and fully accessible for wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

Visitor Centre

The Visitor Centre is built into the hillside and is fully accessible, with lifts and ramps providing access to all levels, including the exhibition, theatre, and cafés. Accessible restrooms are available.

Wheelchair Loan

Wheelchairs are available for loan free of charge from the Visitor Centre desk and the car park office, subject to availability.

"Lifts of Moher" Buggy

An electric mobility vehicle, driven by experienced guides, is available to transport visitors with limited mobility to the viewing platforms, ensuring they don't miss out.

Audio Guides

The free app includes an audio guide, which is beneficial for visitors with visual impairments, providing rich descriptions of the sights and sounds.

Assistance Dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas of the Cliffs of Moher Experience, including inside the Visitor Centre building.

Is O'Brien's Tower wheelchair accessible?
The ground level of O'Brien's Tower is accessible. However, the rooftop viewing platform is only accessible via a narrow spiral staircase and is not wheelchair accessible.
